Safic-Alcan is the new distribution partner for Repsol’s rubber portfolio
Paris-La Défense, January 01st 2022 - Safic-Alcan, a global speciality chemicals distributor, is pleased to announce a new partnership with Repsol, a global multi-energy provider.
This agreement is covering Belgium, Germany, Greece, Italy, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Poland, Romania, Russia, South Africa , Sweden, Denmark, Norway and Finland for Rubber industries.
With this new agreement, Repsol appointed Safic-Alcan for the distribution of their rubber solutions:
- Extender Oils under the name of EXTENSOIL® including the new 100% bio based products BIO - EXTENSOIL® , with different polarities to be compatible with different rubbers. Added to the compounds during rubber processing they reduce their viscosity, to make easier their preparation and manufacture during the lamination and extrusion operations, as well as improving the fillers dispersion.
- Anti-ozone waxes under the name of REDEZON® that are specially designed to avoid the ozone attack to unsaturated rubber parts in static conditions.
- Process aids under the name of REDEX®, that act as process aids in the manufacture of rubber improving processability, reducing time and energy during mixing without modifying its final properties.
