We are delighted to partner with Safic-Alcan Personal care to leverage our presence on the East Coast of the US. This new partnership will strengthen our historical collaboration initiated in Europe. Arkema, Rheology & Specialty Additives and ChemSpec Ltd, a member of Safic-Alcan, enter into a new agreement for the US market
Arkema, Rheology & Specialty Additives and Safic-Alcan are entering into an agreement in the US for the distribution of Rheostyl™ rheology modifiers and Rheostyl™ E polymeric emulsifiers to the cosmetic markets. The territory scope of the contract is covering the eastern part of the US covering all states east of the Mississippi River.
Rheostyl™ and Rheostyl™ E lines are acrylic polymers offering unique performances for the skin care, sun care, color cosmetics & cleansing markets. Both lines have been introduced at In Cosmetics Paris 2022 in April with a bio-attributed origin thanks to a mass balance approach. Rheostyl™ & Rheostyl™ E products with a bio-attributed origin will deliver the same recognized performances and contribute to reduce the carbon footprint of our customer formulas. Beyond the bio-attributed sourcing, Rheostyl™ E multifunctional polymeric emulsifiers provide additional benefits to meet the clean beauty trend as it allows to formulate minimalist products in cold process.
“As we look at our continued growth year after year, developing great partnerships plays a significant role in our division’s success. We are pleased to expand the partnership with Arkema into an additional region outside of Europe; fully expecting a prosperous venture together for many years to come. “ – Jacquelyn Ryan, Sales & Marketing Director, Cosmetics, ChemSpec, Ltd.
