Colour up your Life
Colours play a significant role in life. Starting with the fact that everyone has one or more favorite colours, to the fact that nothing is only black or white, because the whole world is full of colours.
We are surrounded by colours, they are part of our everyday life. So what impact do colours have on our lives? Can they change our behavior or our mood? To what extent do colours influence our decisions and perception of our surroundings? What is the significance of the individual colours?
Moreover, as history shows, the meaning of colours changes over the epochs. It is historical coincidences that influence the perception of colours or special events that ensure that certain colours are associated with positive or negative experiences. In addition, depending on the culture, the effect of colours can be more or less pronounced or even develop a completely different meaning.
Therefore we want to make the world shine with our formulations and that´s the reason why we came up with the „Colour up your life“ - Campaign and created six formulations, all with different color concepts.
The influence and meaning of individual colors
All colours are based on the three primary colours red, yellow and blue. Colours, such as pink, green or purple, are formed by mixing these primary colours. In addition, there are countless other colours and shades called tertiary colours, which are the result of combining primary and secondary colours.
Black and white are in a category of their own, and some scientists, psychologists, and artists do not even recognize them as true "colors." However, they play an irreplaceable role within the color spectrum and are used to mix and create new colors and shades.
Our Formulations
With ingredients from our suppliers, we created colourful formulations to make your everyday life more colourful.
Start your day with our Happy-Day Face Cream. Green is associated with clarity, freshness, openness and awareness. It has a calming and natural effect. We also associate green with nature, life and therefore perceive the colour positively. It also represents growth and renewal, being the colour of spring and rebirth.
Yellow means glow and brightness and conveys joy. The spectrum of the colour yellow ranges from lemon yellow with green components to reddish and warm golden yellow. Yellow is the brightest of the primary colors and has great radiance. In many cultures, yellow is associated with the beautiful, the sacred and the divine. In colour psychology, yellow is the colour of light, warmth and creativity.
So our yellow "Sun's Out" Energizing Mask is designed to radiate energy and uplift the spirit.
Violet or purple is a colour with meaning - it is considered as a symbol of humility and penance as well as self-reflection. Violet, in the tone of an amethyst, is complex, multi-layered and complicated in its character, as well as in its symbolism. The mystical beauty of violet is multi-layered and fraught with tension. From the far-sighted balance of blue combined with the power of red, violet also represents strength. After the application of our violet anti-stress mask "Violet mind the skin can draw new strength and stress can be reduced.
Our pink "Wrink' away" anti-aging mask is designed to fight wrinkles. In colour psychology, pink is a colour of hope, inspiring uplifting feelings. Pink calms and soothes our emotional energies and softens feelings of anger and aggression and so the mask is also said to calm and soften wrinkles. Likewise, pink is feminine and romantic, loving and intimate, thoughtful and caring. It softens the physical aggressiveness of red and replaces it with a gentle energy. Pink is intuitive and empathetic, it shows tenderness and kindness.
Blue symbolizes the unreal. It is associated with gentleness and at the same tim blue represents clear-mindedness, objectivity, neutrality and clarity - this instills confidence and gives a sense of security. Blue frees the mind and gives a feeling of clear freshness, like a jump into cool water. Our Ocean Spirit Face cleansing Powder with a blue colour while using under water is intended to "wash away" everyday stress.
To end the day use our green Power Make-up remover, which gently cleanses and nourishes the skin. As a mixed colour of yellow and blue, the colour green combines the opposites and meanings of both colours: cold and warmth, intellect and intuition, activity and passivity. Light shades of green represent deep relaxation, they are light and mindful. One feeling that is particularly strongly associated with the colour green is hope & and a sense of security.
