Safic-Alcan develops its products portfolio with surfactants and polyether polyols from Arkema
Paris-La Défense, April 1st, 2021 - Safic-Alcan, a global specialty chemicals distributor, is pleased to announce the new partnerships with Arkema for the distribution of its surfactants in France and also specialty polyether polyols in Austria, Belgium, France, Germany, Ireland, Netherlands and United-Kingdom.
Following extensive discussions, Arkema and Safic-Alcan have confirmed their intention to negotiate and finalize a distribution agreement covering UK and Ireland, Nordics, Russia, Greece and South East Asia. Further countries may also be added to the scope in the second quarter of 2021.
The agreement includes SILIPORITE® trademark which provides engineering polyurethane excellence for a wide range of applications, acting by removing residual moisture often present in polyol, solvents or fillers to prevent water from reacting with isocyanate groups.
