Safic-Alcan acquires European Additives
Paris-La Défense, May 31, 2022 – Safic-Alcan, a major distributor of specialty chemicals, announces that it has acquired 100% of European Additives GmbH, Inc. a German chemical distributor specializing in plastic additives across Europe.
European Additives will become part of the Safic-Alcan organization in Germany, under the management of Dr Matthias Pfaffernoschke.
Established in 2006 by Juergen Wittler and headquartered in Cologne, European Additives supply antioxidants, UV stabilizers, nucleating agents, flame retardants and associated blends to the plastic industry.
European Additives has successfully brought innovative solutions to its client base, in particular blends, thanks to strong partnership built over the years.
