ChemSpec North America, a member of the Safic-Alcan family of companies, is proud to announce its recent Pan-North America ISO 9001:2015 certification.
It is now ISO certified across all of North America, as the U.S. entity was recently recertified and two other Safic-Alcan subsidiaries, ChemSpec México and Canada both achieved their first ISO Certifications. Each affiliate has demonstrated the ability to meet rigorous quality standards set forth by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO).
While the U.S. entity, ChemSpec, Ltd., has been ISO Certified for over 15 years, it was the first time both the Mexican and Canadian teams were audited under the ISO criteria. “Certifying our Canada and Mexico sales offices is part of ChemSpec’s ongoing commitment to continuous improvement. Our quality team has made great progress over the last year to implement changes that ensure all ChemSpec locations are held to the same standards. This audit resulting in the multi-site certification indicates we are on the right path,” said Quality & Regulatory Manager Sara Kaschak.
